Google Glass

I would argue that our vision is our greatest sense.  I have heard that up to 80% of our impressions are made through our sight.  There is not a more important sense in my mind than being able to to see.  As the famous quote goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words."  There are so many thoughts and feelings that we have due to our sense of sight.  I am extremely interested in the technology advancements to come in our near future.  It seems with companies like Apple, Amazon, and Google something amazing is to come.  Relating to our site, one of the most cutting edge products I've seen most recently are the Google glasses.

Google Glass may end up being transformational. The technology costs about $1500 and is worn like glasses on your head and shows information that is on your smart phone live. This feels like a game changer to the handheld device market. It may take 5-10 years, but a huge change is coming and it would not be surprising for Google to be the company that does it.
